This section modifies the semi-annual report on privatized military housing under 10 U.S.C. §2884(c) by (1) adding new reporting elements consisting of an overview of housing data used by the Department of Defense and sought from management companies; an assessment of how each military department uses such data for on-base housing decisions; an explanation of limitations, processes, and reasons for missing customer satisfaction data; and, to the maximum extent practicable, a breakdown of information by installation and military housing project; and (2) requiring the Secretary of Defense to publish the report on a publicly available Department of Defense website not later than 30 days after submitting it to Congress. The section also makes technical and conforming amendments, including redesignating certain paragraphs and subparagraphs and changing the subsection heading from "Annual" to "Semi-annual".
