H.R. 545 — To direct the Attorney General to conduct a study on the efficacy of extreme risk protection orders on reducing gun violence, and for other purposes.

This section directs the Attorney General, acting through the Director of the Bureau of Justice Assistance, to conduct a study on the efficacy of extreme risk protection orders (i.e., court orders temporarily prohibiting firearm possession by individuals deemed a significant danger to themselves or others) in reducing gun violence, not later than one year after enactment of this Act.
