H.R. 5498 — Small Business Health Options Awareness Act of 2025

This section directs the Small Business Administration (SBA) Administrator to disseminate information—developed by appropriate federal agencies such as the Departments of the Treasury, Health and Human Services, and Labor—on individual coverage health reimbursement arrangements (ICHRAs, i.e., employer-funded accounts reimbursing employees tax-free for individual health insurance premiums, as defined in a 2019 rule) to small business concerns through small business development centers and SBA district offices. The section further requires the Administrator to include such information in SBA outreach and communications, including social media, press releases, and the SBA website.
