H.R. 5574 — To extend the National Flood Insurance Program through November 21, 2025.

This section extends the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP)—which provides flood insurance to property owners in participating communities—through November 21, 2025 (from September 30, 2023). The section also extends the temporary increase in the FEMA Administrator's borrowing authority for the National Flood Insurance Fund to $30.425 billion with presidential approval through that date (from September 30, 2023; the base limit is $500 million without approval or $1.5 billion with approval through the NFIP expiration date).
