H.R. 5665 — ACE Veterans Act

This section establishes a new VA requirement (in a new section 1720M of title 38, U.S. Code) allowing enrolled veterans to elect a full-year supply of prescribed contraceptive pills, transdermal patches, vaginal rings, or other contraceptive products. VA medical providers must notify veterans of this option, and the term “contraceptive product” is defined to include any FDA-approved, cleared, authorized, or licensed drug, device, or biological product intended to prevent pregnancy.
