H.R. 5786 — White House NOT FOR SALE Act

This section prohibits permanent or semi-permanent inscriptions, engravings, advertisements, or other displays of the name of an individual, corporation, or other entity within the White House, on White House grounds, or within structures thereon unless expressly approved by the Speaker and Minority Leader of the House of Representatives and the Curator of the White House, in consultation with the Committee for the Preservation of the White House. Displays qualifying as a "commemorative work" under the Commemorative Works Act (40 U.S.C. Ch. 89) are instead governed by that Act.
