H.R. 5804 — Providing Robust Organics and Diets for Urban Communities Everywhere Act

This section reauthorizes elements of the Office of Urban Agriculture and Innovative Production—which coordinates Department of Agriculture programs and policies to promote urban, indoor, and emerging agricultural practices (e.g., community gardens, rooftop farms, vertical production, hydroponics, aeroponics, and aquaponics)—by (1) extending the Urban Agriculture and Innovative Production Advisory Committee through 2030 (from 2023); (2) extending a provision under subsection (d) through 2030 (from 2023); and (3) increasing authorized funding to $50 million annually for FY2025 through 2030 (from $25 million for FY2019 through 2023).
