This section (1) establishes a HUD grant program under the LEGACY Act of 2003 for owners of intergenerational dwelling units (i.e., housing serving grandparents and relatives raising children) to fund onsite service coordinators offering tutoring, health care, afterschool care, and kinship navigator coordination; community outreach to grandfamilies; service planning; and space retrofitting, to be implemented not later than 180 days after enactment with authorization of such sums as necessary for FY2026 through FY2030; (2) adds the program as a covered housing program under VAWA (34 U.S.C. 12491(a)(3)) (i.e., extending protections against eviction or denial of admission for victims of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, or stalking, as well as emergency transfers); and (3) requires the HUD Secretary to submit to Congress, not later than two years after enactment, a report on the program's effectiveness and legislative recommendations.
