H.R. 5957 — Connecting Veterans to Care Act of 2025

This section expands eligibility for operating cost grants under the Urbanized Area Formula Grants program to public transportation that serves a Department of Veterans Affairs medical facility (in addition to public transportation in urbanized areas with populations of fewer than 200,000 individuals). This section further requires recipients of such funds to certify to the Secretary, within 30 days after first receipt and annually thereafter, that the operating costs support service to such a facility, with suspension of assistance for any fiscal year of noncompliance.
