H.R. 5986 — END Illicit Chinese Tobacco Act

This section amends Section 801(a) of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (21 U.S.C. 381(a)) to include counterfeit tobacco products (as defined in section 900 of the Act) alongside counterfeit devices in an import examination and refusal provision (fourth sentence) and to extend import refusal, redelivery, and destruction procedures applicable to drugs and devices to tobacco products as well (seventh through tenth sentences). The amendments apply beginning on the date of enactment.
