This section repeals Section 213 of title II of division C of the Continuing Appropriations, Agriculture, Legislative Branch, Military Construction and Veterans Affairs, and Extensions Act, 2026 (Public Law 119-37), and the amendments made by such section to section 10 of the Legislative Branch Appropriations Act, 2005 (2 U.S.C. 6628), which had imposed notification requirements on the Office of the Sergeant at Arms and Doorkeeper of the Senate, its agents, and Senate office providers relating to legal process for disclosures of Senate data (i.e., electronic communications and other data of Senate offices, including committees, Senators, officers, employees, interns, and agents) and established a private right of action. The section further requires any Senator awarded funds under that private right of action, from enactment of Public Law 119-37 through enactment of this Act, to disgorge such funds into the general fund of the Treasury.
