H.R. 6067 — Tribal Internet Expansion Act of 2025

This section expands universal service principles under the Communications Act of 1934 to direct support to Indian country (i.e., all land within the limits of any Indian reservation, all dependent Indian communities, and all Indian allotments, the Indian titles to which have not been extinguished) and areas with high populations of Indian people, in addition to high-cost areas. (Thus, consumers in such areas are explicitly identified as deserving access to telecommunications services at rates reasonably comparable to those in urban areas.)
