H.R. 6102 — Citizen Ballot Protection Act

This section amends the National Voter Registration Act of 1993 to authorize states to require proof of U.S. citizenship on (1) the federal mail voter registration form prescribed by the Election Assistance Commission (previously the Federal Election Commission) and (2) state-developed mail voter registration forms that meet federal criteria. (Thus, states may impose this requirement in addition to the form's existing criteria.)
