H.R. 6156 — Endorsement Transparency Act

This section amends Title I of the Labor-Management Reporting and Disclosure Act of 1959 to prohibit a labor organization from endorsing a candidate for President unless the organization (1) polls its members with respect to the endorsement and (2) discloses the poll results to members. The amendment takes effect 12 months after the date of enactment.
