H.R. 6195 — Intelligence Community Property Security Act of 2025

This section establishes a new criminal offense under the National Security Act of 1947 for unauthorized access, within U.S. jurisdiction, to any property under the jurisdiction of an element of the intelligence community (i.e., one of the 18 U.S. intelligence agencies) that is clearly marked as closed or restricted. Violations are punishable by a fine under 18 U.S.C., imprisonment, or both: (1) up to 180 days for a first offense; (2) up to 3 years for a second offense; and (3) up to 10 years for a third or subsequent offense.
