H.R. 6210 — Senior Savings Protection Act

This section extends funding through FY2030 (from FY2025) for Medicare beneficiary outreach and assistance programs established under section 119 of the Medicare Improvements for Patients and Providers Act of 2008 by providing the following amounts for each of FY2026 through 2030: (1) $15 million for State health insurance assistance programs; (2) $15 million for area agencies on aging; (3) $5 million for aging and disability resource centers; and (4) $15 million for coordination activities to inform older Americans about benefits available under federal and state programs. (These programs provide grants to states, local agencies, and resource centers to assist Medicare enrollees—particularly low-income seniors and individuals with disabilities—with understanding Medicare options, applying for low-income subsidies, and accessing related benefits.)
