H.R. 6307 — Hunger Clearinghouse Enhancement Act of 2025

This section revises the information clearinghouse under the Richard B. Russell National School Lunch Act—(1) to require the provision of information on the utilization of trained volunteers and resources that address ways to prevent hunger, in addition to existing topics such as food assistance and self-help activities; and (2) to modify authorized funding to $250,000 for each fiscal year through 2025 (from through 2027) and $750,000 for each of fiscal years 2026 through 2032. (As background, the clearinghouse contracts with a qualified nongovernmental organization to develop and share information with groups assisting low-income individuals and communities to reduce hunger and reliance on government assistance.)
