H.R. 6320 — Improving Medicaid Precision and Cancer Test Act of 2025

This section requires state Medicaid programs to cover lung cancer biomarker testing (i.e., laboratory tests to identify genetic mutations or other biomarkers in lung cancer tumors to guide targeted therapies) as a mandatory service beginning January 1, 2027. It adds this testing to the list of required benefits under Medicaid law and extends the requirement to Medicaid benchmark coverage plans offered through state waivers.
