H.R. 6384 — Defense Health Agency Prevention Services Enhancement Act

This section requires the Secretary of Defense, in consultation with the Secretaries of the military departments, to provide the House Armed Services Committee a briefing on the feasibility of consolidating covered prevention services into a single facility at each U.S. military installation (as defined in 10 U.S.C. §2801), with the briefing due not later than 180 days after enactment. The briefing must include (1) an assessment of the feasibility and advisability of such consolidation, (2) a cost estimate, and (3) an evaluation of each military department's prior consolidation efforts, successes, and lessons learned. Covered prevention services are those offered to service members and their dependents relating to preventing sexual assault, suicide, harassment, domestic violence, and other related community-based prevention.
