H.R. 6407 — RCORP Authorization Act

This section establishes the Rural Communities Opioid Response Program under the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) to award grants and cooperative agreements for planning, evidence-based prevention, treatment, and recovery services for substance use disorders (including opioid use disorder) and related issues in rural areas. Eligible applicants include states, Indian Tribes and Tribal organizations, state offices of rural health, and other domestic entities; grants are for up to five years, may be fully funded at award, prohibit real property acquisition or improvement, and are authorized at $165 million annually for FY2026 through FY2030.
