H.R. 6463 — Emergency Alert Grant Fairness Act

This section requires the Administrator of the Federal Emergency Management Agency to open applications for Next Generation Warning System grants for at least 30 days each year. The section also makes public broadcasting entities (as defined in 47 U.S.C. 397)—generally noncommercial educational television and radio stations owned by public agencies or nonprofits—eligible for such grants.
