H.R. 6480 — To direct the Administrator of General Services to submit a report to Congress on the state of the real estate portfolio of the Public Building Service, and for other purposes.

This section requires the Administrator of General Services to submit to the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure and the Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works, by January 31 each year, a report on the state of the Public Building Service real estate portfolio for the previous calendar year. The report must include (1) the number of leases signed and terminated; (2) the total number of leased spaces; (3) square footage leased, occupied, and vacant; (4) the number of buildings owned; (5) top customers by square feet and annual rent; (6) completed new construction and major repair and alteration projects; (7) financial indicators on space utilization, operating costs per square foot, cost-avoidance from building disposals and lease terminations, and deferred maintenance liabilities; (8) any federal buildings disposed of by GSA's Office of Real Property Disposition; and (9) GSA and tenant agency plans for relocating federal agencies from owned space planned for disposal or non-renewed leased space, including funding sources and whether tenants requested the relocations.
