H.R. 6522 — CARING for Our Veterans Health Act of 2025

This section directs the Under Secretary for Health of the Department of Veterans Affairs to ensure that the Office of Integrated Veteran Care (1) develops guidance for VA medical centers to obtain final medical documentation from community care providers after veterans receive referred services; (2) establishes goals and performance measures for medical centers to obtain initial and final documentation from such providers; (3) establishes and monitors goals and performance measures for providers' completion of core trainings and ensures completion of required training courses; and (4) ensures the office and its contractors communicate clear, accurate information to providers on such trainings, including whether recommended or required. This section also requires the Under Secretary to submit reports to the Senate and House Committees on Veterans' Affairs on implementation steps not later than 120 days after enactment of this Act and every 120 days thereafter until fully implemented.
