H.R. 6578 — Charlie Kirk Freedom of Speech Plaza Act

This section redesignates the area of 16th Street Northwest between H Street Northwest and K Street Northwest in the District of Columbia as “Charlie Kirk Freedom of Speech Plaza” (from “Black Lives Matter Plaza” under the Black Lives Matter Plaza Designation Act of 2020). It directs the District of Columbia to construct at least two street signs bearing that name—similar in design to Metro station signs—and to install them above existing signs at the intersections of 16th Street Northwest with H Street Northwest and K Street Northwest not later than 90 days after enactment.
