H.R. 6629 — Developing Master Plans for Military Service Academies Act of 2025

This section requires each Secretary of a military department to develop a master plan for infrastructure requirements at each Service Academy (as defined in 10 U.S.C. 347), to be completed no later than September 30, 2027. Each master plan must (1) consider requirements under 10 U.S.C. 2864(a)(2)(A)–(D); (2) identify infrastructure at the Service Academy in poor or failing condition as of September 30, 2027, and provide a plan to replace, recapitalize, or renovate it by September 30, 2032; (3) list infrastructure at the Service Academy on the National Register of Historic Places as of the plan's completion date or eligible for such listing within five years of enactment; and (4) assess risks from energy disruptions, extreme weather, cybersecurity, and clean water availability, with a proposed method to address elements (1) and (4) by September 30, 2032. This section further directs each Secretary to brief the Senate and House Armed Services Committees on the plans' timelines within 180 days of enactment and to submit each completed plan to the committees within 30 days of completion or by December 1, 2027, whichever is earlier.
