H.R. 6650 — Veterans Career Connection Act

This section establishes the Veterans Transition Talent Hub program within VA to provide employers with searchable data on covered transitioning service members and veterans who elect to participate. Covered individuals include veterans and Armed Forces members eligible for preseparation counseling under 10 U.S.C. §1142; searchable data includes anticipated discharge dates, military and civilian skills, certifications or credentials, geographic and employment preferences, and resumes or profiles. In carrying out the program, VA must consult with DOD, DOL, employers, recognized veterans service organizations, and state workforce agencies.
