H.R. 6669 — No Taxation on PFAS Remediation Act

This section establishes a new exclusion from an individual's gross income for amounts received as reimbursements for remediation of perfluoroalkyl or polyfluoroalkyl substance (PFAS) contamination (i.e., "forever chemicals" often found in groundwater and consumer products). The exclusion applies to reimbursements received in taxable years beginning after December 31, 2020, and extends the statute of limitations on related tax credits or refunds for one year from enactment.
