H.R. 6699 — Stop Communist Radio Act of 2025

This section establishes a grant program administered by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to enable covered radio stations—defined as small-market AM or FM stations licensed by the FCC that are not affiliated with any radio network or government entity—to acquire and operate technology and equipment mitigating harmful interference from radio transmissions originating in Cuba. Grants are awarded competitively to eligible licensees that have experienced such interference and submit required applications; funds must be used in accordance with FCC-specified terms and conditions that minimize interference to other spectrum users, and compliant operations are deemed to satisfy the Communications Act of 1934, FCC regulations, and station licenses.
