H.R. 6869 — To amend the Aamodt Litigation Settlement Act to modify a provision relating to the extension of certain dates for the completion of the Regional Water System, and for other purposes.

This section authorizes extension of dates specified in subsection (e) of Section 623 of the Aamodt Litigation Settlement Act upon agreement by the Pueblos, the United States (acting through the Secretary), the State, the City, and the County that such an extension is reasonably necessary. (As background, the act implements a settlement of water rights claims by the Pueblos of Nambe, Pojoaque, San Ildefonso, and Tesuque in New Mexico's Pojoaque Basin, including construction of a regional water system.)
