§2. Report on recidivism by 1/6 insurrectionists
This section directs the Director of the Congressional Research Service to submit a report on recidivism, not later than 60 days after enactment of this Act and every 180 days thereafter, to the House Committee on Administration, Senate Committee on Rules and Administration, and House and Senate Committees on Appropriations, and to make the report publicly available on the Library of Congress website. The report covers individuals pardoned, with sentences commuted, or with pending indictments dismissed under Presidential Proclamation 10887 of January 20, 2025, relating to offenses at or near the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021, and must include (1) a list of such individuals; (2) a list of those arrested, charged, or convicted of a federal, state, or local criminal offense from January 20, 2025, through the report date, with a description of each offense; (3) a list of those involved in law enforcement encounters involving use of force by an officer against the individual; and (4) any other information the Director determines appropriate.
