H.R. 6978 — Preserving Integrity in Immigration Benefits Act

This section directs the Director of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services to conduct a comprehensive review of all approved immigration benefit requests implicated in Presidential Proclamation 10998, entitled “Restricting and Limiting the Entry of Foreign Nationals To Protect the Security of the United States” (dated December 16, 2025), that were approved from January 20, 2021, through the date of enactment, to ensure proper adjudication and application of standards. Not later than September 15, 2026, the Director must provide an in-person briefing to the House and Senate Judiciary Committees and publish an online report on the review results.
