This section directs the Secretary of Homeland Security, not later than 30 days after enactment, to develop standards and guidelines for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and its components that (1) prohibit use of the Mobile Fortify Mobile Application, Mobile Identify Mobile Application, or successor applications except for identification at ports of entry; (2) prohibit sharing such applications with any other federal, state, local, tribal, or territorial agency; (3) require removal of such applications from DHS information technology except as necessary at ports of entry and remote disablement of any such applications on non-DHS information technology; (4) require immediate destruction of any image, photograph, or fingerprint of a U.S. citizen captured via such applications prior to implementation of the standards; and (5) require destruction within 12 hours of any such biometric data of a U.S. citizen captured at ports of entry.
