H.R. 7191 — Fatigued Pilot Protection Act

This section directs the FAA Administrator, not later than 180 days after enactment, to update regulations as necessary to extend the applicability of flightcrew flight and duty limitations and rest requirements (14 CFR part 117)—previously limited to passenger-carrying operations—to all operations under 14 CFR part 121 (i.e., including all-cargo air carrier operations). (Thus, cargo pilots will be subject to the same fatigue-mitigation rules as passenger pilots.)
