H.R. 7205 — Application FEES Act

This section expands the definition of qualified higher education expenses under section 529 plans (i.e., tax-advantaged savings plans for education costs) to include fees required of the beneficiary to apply for admission to any eligible educational institution. The change applies to distributions made after the date of enactment.
