H.R. 7292 — To amend the National Quantum Initiative Act to require a biennial report on the progress of the Subcommittee on Quantum Information Science of the National Science and Technology Council in implementing the national workforce strategic plan, and for other purposes.

This section requires the chairpersons of the Subcommittee on Quantum Information Science—established under the National Quantum Initiative Act to coordinate federal quantum information science research, standards, education, and workforce development—to submit biennial reports to the President, the Advisory Committee, and the appropriate committees of Congress on the Subcommittee's progress in implementing its strategic plan under subsection (e). Each report must describe such progress, challenges encountered, and planned updates to address evolving workforce needs.
