H.R. 7307 — SUPPLIES Act

This section directs the Secretary of State and USAID Administrator, not later than 60 days after enactment, to establish procedures for the disposition of residual inventory of unused supplies or commodities upon termination or completion of a foreign assistance project or program, prioritizing prevention of their diversion, destruction, or expiration without use. The section further requires publication of these procedures on the public websites of the Department of State and USAID and defines "commodity" as a perishable or nonperishable item (including medicine, vaccines, medical devices, food, and food commodities) procured, managed, controlled, or held by the U.S. government or its foreign assistance partners for providing foreign assistance.
