H.R. 7337 — Make Congress Drive Union-Made Act

This section prohibits the use of funds from the Members' Representational Allowance—which supports the official and representational duties of House Members and Delegates with respect to their districts—to purchase or lease a motor vehicle unless the vehicle (1) has a final assembly place in the United States (as defined in 49 U.S.C. 32304) and (2) is assembled by employees covered by a collective bargaining agreement. The prohibition takes effect on October 1, 2026.

This section restricts the use of funds from the Senators' Official Personnel and Office Expense Account—available to each Senator's office for staff salaries and official expenses—prohibiting their use to purchase or lease motor vehicles effective October 1, 2026, unless the vehicle has final assembly in the United States (per 49 U.S.C. 32304) and is assembled by employees covered by a collective bargaining agreement.
