“For the relief of Dr. Yue-Cheng Yang.”
This bill provides for the relief of Dr. Yue-Cheng Yang.
This section makes Dr. Yue-Cheng Yang eligible for an immigrant visa under INA §204 or adjustment of status to lawful permanent resident under INA §245, notwithstanding per-country numerical limitations of INA §201(a)-(b); deems his prior U.S. entry lawful if occurring before the two-year filing deadline; and waives any grounds of inadmissibility (INA §212(a)) or deportability (INA §237(a)) reflected in Department of Homeland Security or State Department records as of enactment, while rescinding any outstanding removal order against him. Applications must be filed with fees within two years of enactment, and upon approval, reduces by one the total family-sponsored immigrant visas available to natives of his country of birth under INA §203(a) (8 U.S.C. 1153(a)) during the current or next fiscal year—or employment-based visas under INA §202(e) (8 U.S.C. 1152(e)), if applicable.
