H.R. 7382 — Nonprofit Security Grant Program Transparency Act

This section revises the reporting requirements under the Nonprofit Security Grant Program by requiring the Administrator to submit reports to the House Committee on Homeland Security and the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs. Not later than seven days before awarding a set of grants in a fiscal year, the Administrator must report pre-grant information, including the number of applications submitted to states and the Administrator, the number and aggregate amount of grants disaggregated by state and high-risk urban area, and details for each recipient (name, address including state, high-risk urban area status, and grant amount). Not later than 90 days after the end of a fiscal year, the Administrator must report annual information, including for each state the number of applications, grants made, aggregate amounts, and state retentions under subsection (c)(2); each recipient's grant expenditures; high-risk urban area grant numbers and amounts; and program office operations, including staffing and implementation of target hardening activities under subsection (c)(1)(A)-(D).
