H.R. 7526 — Safe Skies Act of 2026

This section directs the Secretary of Transportation to modify the FAA's final rule on flightcrew member duty and rest requirements (published January 4, 2012, at 77 Fed. Reg. 330), which previously applied only to passenger operations under 14 CFR part 121, to extend those requirements to all-cargo operations by air carriers in the same manner, with the modification required not later than 30 days after enactment. The section exempts the modification from notice-and-comment rulemaking requirements under 5 U.S.C. §553.
