H.R. 7535 — Second Chance Mental Health Access Act of 2026

This section requires state Medicaid plans to cover 12 mental health visits furnished via telehealth per calendar year for individuals enrolled under the plan (or waiver) who are subject to home confinement pursuant to judicial process and who were incarcerated in a public institution immediately prior to such confinement. The requirement applies to individuals released from a public institution on or after the date of enactment.
