H.R. 7550 — Permanent Tax Relief for Seniors Act

This section makes permanent the additional standard deduction for seniors (i.e., taxpayers who are 65 or older or blind), which previously applied only to taxable years beginning before January 1, 2029. The change applies to taxable years beginning after December 31, 2026.
