H.R. 7626 — Defend Elections from Trump Act

This section prohibits the obligation or expenditure of federal funds from the date of enactment through December 31, 2026, for ordering, bringing, or keeping federal law enforcement, intelligence, or military personnel acting under color of law at domestic polling places, election offices, or locations where vote canvassing, counting, certification, or other election activities occur, unless Congress enacts specific statutory authorization for such presence. The prohibition does not apply to otherwise qualified federal personnel exercising their right to vote under state law.
