This bill provides for the relief of Roberto Carlos Lopez.
This section grants Roberto Carlos Lopez eligibility for an immigrant visa or adjustment to lawful permanent resident status notwithstanding specified numerical limits and family-sponsored preferences under INA §201(a)-(b), deems any U.S. entry before the filing deadline as lawful for adjustment of status under INA §245, and waives all grounds of inadmissibility or deportability reflected in Department of Homeland Security or State Department records as of enactment (with rescission of any outstanding removal orders). It requires his application (with fees) within two years of enactment and, upon approval, directs reduction by one of immigrant visas available to natives of his country of birth under INA §203(a) or §202(e) during the current or next fiscal year. His natural parents, brothers, and sisters receive no immigration preferences by virtue of the relationship.
