H.R. 7643 — Veteran Technology Employment Success Act

This section revises reporting requirements for the Veteran Employment Through Technology Education Courses (VET TEC) program by (1) requiring the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to make the annual report to Congress publicly available; and (2) directing that the employment rate in such report be calculated as the percentage of covered individuals who completed a high technology program during the year and are employed 180 days after completion (excluding employment by the program provider, its parent or affiliate, or as an instructor for a substantially similar program), with rates of full-time employment, part-time employment, and self-employment reported to the maximum extent practicable. This section further requires the Secretary to ongoingly solicit, collect, analyze feedback on the program from participants and the GI Bill School Feedback Tool, and use such feedback to evaluate and improve program implementation.
