H.R. 7913 — Higher Education Challenge Grant Modernization Act

This section amends the priorities for grants under the higher education teaching programs (7 U.S.C. 3152)—which support college and university teaching in food and agricultural sciences and rural economic, community, and business development—by adding as a third priority applications for teaching enhancement projects, including paid work-based learning, that address needs for additional trained professionals in those fields. It further authorizes appropriations of $60 million for each of FY2026 through FY2035.
