H.R. 8017 — Defeat Sharia Law in America Act

This section amends the public accommodations nondiscrimination provision of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (i.e., Title II, prohibiting discrimination or segregation on grounds of race, color, religion, or national origin in establishments such as hotels, restaurants, theaters, and gasoline stations affecting interstate commerce) to deem the implementation of Sharia law in providing goods, services, facilities, privileges, advantages, or accommodations as discrimination or segregation on the ground of religion.
