This section revises the CDC national vaccine awareness campaign to emphasize vaccination in communities with low rates and among pregnant and postpartum individuals, requires dissemination of vaccine information to providers and facilities offering prenatal, obstetric, and pediatric care (adding obstetric care), and authorizes vaccine information targeted to pregnant and postpartum individuals. It also increases the campaign's authorized funding to $17 million annually for FY2027 through 2031 (from $15 million for FY2021 through 2025) and directs CDC public health improvement activities to increase vaccination rates among pregnant and postpartum individuals—including from racial and ethnic minority groups—and their children.
