H.R. 804 — Rural Small Business Resilience Act

This section directs the SBA Administrator, not later than one year after enactment, to ensure that the Associate Administrator of the Office of Disaster Recovery and Resilience provides individuals in rural areas (as defined in 15 U.S.C. 636(b)(16)) affected by a disaster declaration under SBA §7(b) with full access to such disaster assistance—including physical and economic injury loans to homeowners, renters, businesses, and nonprofits—including through targeted outreach and marketing materials. (As background, SBA §7(b) authorizes direct loans for disaster recovery needs such as home repair or replacement and business economic injury.)
