H.R. 8084 — Access to LARCs Act

This section directs the Secretary of Health and Human Services to conduct a study on access by women eligible for federal health care programs (i.e., women in need) to two or more contraceptive methods (i.e., approved drugs or devices, sexual risk avoidance education, or natural family planning) at community health centers (i.e., health centers under section 330 of the Public Health Service Act) located in health care deserts (i.e., areas with fewer than one such center per 1,000 women in need). The study must analyze barriers including reimbursement, inventory stocking, provider training, and patient education, and identify centers receiving Title X family planning funding; the Secretary must submit a report on results to Congress within 180 days of enactment.
